While usually oxidation is not good it can be a desireable flavor in certain styles like this one. If you try Gales Prize Olde Ale you will certainly fine the same note. I wouldn't expect much oxidation owing to the action of those yeasts. The...I had a bottle of the 2009 and 2010 recently. The 2009 was a little too postcardy... signs of oxidation. it was still very good, but the 2010 was amazing... Therefore, I don't quite think I'd sign off on the "one that will age for years" line.<br /><br />I picked up two bottles of the 2011.
