Does that clarify my point?Mikenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21271644.post-32458670919117820142012-05-13T11:40:59.299-07:002012-05-13T11:40:59.299-07:00Mike, what would qualify as authentic in your mind...Mike, what would qualify as authentic in your mind? Glad to see that Dave and his crew are getting some recognition. We can argue what authentic means, but if you're using smoked barley malt and hopping the beer lightly, it's not really an example of style.Jeff Alworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02930119177544342495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21271644.post-15062172159606493552012-05-12T00:20:19.626-07:002012-05-12T00:20:19.626-07:00"fully-authentic"? I have always been fascinated with them after enjoying their sours at Puckerfest and discussing them... with them.

I never make it down there (At least since my Sister finished OSU over a decade ago, which at that time, Rogue beers were everywhere, and plenty)and don't really plan on it either. I always thought Corvallis needed a place like Flat Tail when I was in college there, but I think they have far exceeded even optimistic expectations as a brewery and restaurant.BeaverStateBeerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00473260384540718737noreply@blogger.com
