What bothered me most about the beer was the burnt character from the combination of bittering hops and whatever roasted malt they added for color. Of course, I am just back from two weeks drinking Real Ales in the UK so maybe my tastebuds are out of whack. I'm curious about calling it an Oregon Stout. As someone who generally steers away from stouts (for no real reason), but who really likes Porters, I really enjoyed the Top Sail.
