Packer Beer at the White House

Now for something completely trivial:

President Barack Obama's party will include beer from Hinterland Brewery in Green Bay. Several cases of pale ale and amber ale have been shipped to Washington in time for the big game.

Hinterland owner Bill Tressler calls the opportunity "real cool. He says it'll be nice to get some feedback -- hopefully positive.

You can take the man out of the Midwest, but you can't stop him from serving Midwestern beer at his Super Bowl party--or something. In any case, I'm pleased to see the White House is backing the true patriots in the game--despite Obama's sad and misguided Bears fandom--and opposing the evildoers of Pittsburgh.
