Zen and the Art of Brewing
At the risk of offending my Catholic readers, I couldn't help but admire this beautifully Zen quote from Brother Thomas of the Westmalle Abbey, circa 1992, as quoted by Michael Jackson in the Great Beers of Belgium.

Actually, it sounds like a quote very much in tune with Christian mysticisim as passed down, first by the Desert Mothers and Fathers, and then by their spiritual children, the monastics, for the last 1800 years.
